Zoo and Trexler Game Reserve
This was a fun day with Grandma and Grandpa McKenna (mommy is behind the camera). Evan loved the animals and had fun being able to run around. We had a slight meltdown leaving the slide and climber (he knows no fear when it comes to these and wants to keep up with the big kids!)
The zoo is located well off the main road, and nestled into the hills. It is a hidden treasure to say the least, and the view on the way out is breathtaking. We had to cross a stream in the car (part of the park build, not our idea of whimsy) which added a little extra wow factor to this little gem.
