This is my first haircut (by someone other than mom). Ilka works at the daycare and also at a salon. Evan loved the fact he knew Ilka, and was fairly still and composed for someone who has just recently turned TWO!
Sunday Morning cuddled up on the couch with Winnie the Pooh and Leopold the Siamese cat. Evan is waiting for mommy (momma) to make pancakes and sausages. Notice breakfast with our big boy cup and fork, and sitting in our booster. Where did our baby go? Such a big boy now.
Evan received a new tricycle from our friends The Lehn's (John, Sylvia and their son Derek) He loved all the bells and whistle's and thinks this is great fun!
This was a fun day with Grandma and Grandpa McKenna (mommy is behind the camera). Evan loved the animals and had fun being able to run around. We had a slight meltdown leaving the slide and climber (he knows no fear when it comes to these and wants to keep up with the big kids!) The zoo is located well off the main road, and nestled into the hills. It is a hidden treasure to say the least, and the view on the way out is breathtaking. We had to cross a stream in the car (part of the park build, not our idea of whimsy) which added a little extra wow factor to this little gem.
This was a fun day with Grandma and Grandpa McKenna and Great Aunt Cindy & Great Uncle Doug (Pop Pop Schoneman's Sister and brother-in-law).
I really liked the music jungle, dancing, the water tables and eating ice cream for the first time (I have tasted it but never really liked it). I think it would be a great place to see every year as I grow!I went on the Merry Go Round but the picture's didn't come out very well...I went too fast!
Evan's 2nd Birthday Party........a few snap shots. I missed pictures of so many people, next year I will be on a mission! The guest list was full. Grandma and Grandpa McKenna came from California. Pop Pop and Grandoc came from NJ. Great Aunt Cindy and Great Uncle Doug were here from Illinios. Evan's friend's from school (and their mommies and daddies) included Evan L., Nate, Landon, Jacob P., Elijah, Madison, Adrian, Chayse and Ryder. My Orser cousin's Owen and Lily were here (also with mom Wakan and dad Chris), and my Guantner cousins Zach, Victoria, Abby and Bridget (and mom Erin). I even had my Great Uncle Neal, and my Great Aunt Kathy and Great Uncle Larry here! Teacher's Jenny and Nicole (Knee-cole) came, along with the Lehn and Minter families! We played in my new playroom, ate lots of yummy food, had my Thomas The Tank Engine Cake, and opened lots of presents. Then after everyone left I gathered up balloons and really had some fun running all over the house! I stayed up very late and had a great day!
